date idea:
We go to the boardwalk, or to the fair. Everything is pastel colored and draped in twinkling lights. We entwine our fingers, taking turns squeezing eachother’s hands. You buy me a big pink cotton candy and get yourself a blue one and we share each with one another. We wander the grounds, stopping for rides on the carousel and wooden coaster. We pass a game offering giant teddy bears for the winners, and leave with one in hand.. it’s almost too big for me to carry. You convince me to go on the ferris wheel even though they scare me. You kiss me when we’re at the top and you don’t let me look down. I am safe with you.
